// billing
How paying works.
- What counts as revenue?
- What the stores or Stripe actually paid out for the project that month, after their own fee. Refunds and chargebacks come off the next payout.
- When are we billed?
- Monthly, through Stripe, to a card on file. Only for months above $2,500, and only on the part above it.
- What if we don't pay?
- After 30 days unpaid we pause reading revenue from the stores until it's paid. You can still type revenue in by hand. The split itself is never changed or deleted.
- Can the 7% go up?
- Not for your project. The rate is in the split you sign, and a price change only ever applies to new projects.
- Setup fees, minimums, recoup?
- None. We take 7% of money that came in and nothing else. No advances to earn back.
- Can we switch?
- Any time. Start free, connect the stores when there's money, let us publish later, or take the app back for free.
